What to expect Here?

Although arriving - and registering - on Saturday morning is possible, many GL3D® participants join us on the Friday for a relaxing and sociable evening in the communal marquee, and the chance to discuss the map and route options over a pint or brew. We will be serving meals (pre-order only) and there will be a bar serving local beer and other drinks. Registration is also possible on the Friday evening.

Friday night meal

Take the hassle out of cooking your pre-race meal by ordering our 3-course Friday night meal. This includes a soup & roll + a homemade vegetarian main meal + dessert + choice of teas or coffee.

Main course

The 2025 menu will be updated ahead of the event. Take a look at the 2024 menu below!

Vegan Bolognese (GF pasta option available) Served with dairy or vegan cheese, garlic and herb slice (Ve, GF option available) a fresh, green leaf salad and homemade slaw.

Pudding

(Vegan) Sticky Toffee pudding + Cream (Vegan Option available)

Saturday morning breakfast

Feeling peckish Saturday morning? Then why don’t you indulge yourself in a slap-up pre-event breakfast before you start running? Expect a cooked vegetarian option + cereals + choice of teas or coffee.

Cold options - Breakfast rolls or bread (brown and white) accompanied with a selection of breakfast jams, marmalade or marmite. We also have Ourea’s mega muesli or cornflakes served with organic dairy milk, soya milk or oat milk, yoghurt and choice of teas or coffee. There will also of course be Porridge (GF available) to help keep you fuelled.

Hot Options - Hash browns, scrambled egg, scrambled tofu, vegetarian sausages and baked beans - all served with sliced bread (brown or white) morning roll and English Muffins.

How to order the Friday night meal or/and the Saturday morning breakfast? Either choose these optional extras upon entering or edit your entry to add them.

You’ll drop your dry bag off – either when you register or just before you start – and then head for the start line (see key timings).

You’ll be back at the event centre sometime on Monday afternoon to cross the finish line and be greeted with your finisher’s meal and a healthy portion of satisfaction in the knowledge that you have just completed the Great Lakeland 3Day® - well done!
